Suitable for VW T5s subjected to permanently high loads, such as: assembly vehicles, motorhomes, ambulances, etc.
We recommend a minimum load of approximately 250 kg with this kit. Empty use may result in a harsher ride than desired.
Easy installation, without complications!
The T5 is an excellent vehicle, but its suspension is relatively soft. This offers good comfort when empty or lightly loaded, but once loaded, it can sag noticeably. It can also be slightly unstable.
Pedders Suspension offers a solution in the form of a modified spring and shock absorber kit for the VW Transporter T5. It consists of extra-heavy-duty springs capable of supporting all loads. By installing this kit on your T5, you restore the car's height and improve its stability. This kit slightly reduces ride comfort when empty, which resolves once loaded.
When empty, the car is raised by approximately 30 mm. This kit is suitable for all variants of T5/T6/T6.1 models, including 4x4s.

NOTE regarding installation: It is important to tighten the shock absorber mounting bolts to the axle when the vehicle is on the ground under normal operating conditions. This prevents the shock absorbers from being fully extended under the weight of the axles on the jack, which could damage them. This is good practice when installing shock absorbers!
