The MAD air suspension is generally designed to work in conjunction with the vehicle's original rear suspension. Available in various versions, it is suited for drivers who wish to adjust their suspension firmness themselves. Inflation can be done manually (requiring access to compressed air to inflate the air bags to the desired pressure) or with a compressor and pressure gauge (allowing adjustment while driving). A full air suspension system compensates for the original suspension and automatically adjusts to the load level. Installing an air suspension system radically transforms the driving experience, whether the vehicle is loaded or not. Each suspension is specifically designed to fit your vehicle model. It also allows the rear of the vehicle to be raised if necessary, for example to increase ground clearance. With MAD air suspension, comfort and safety reach a whole new level.

For optimal results, install the air bellows with a compressor. This allows you to adjust the air pressure in the bellows with the simple press of a button from inside the cabin, while avoiding damage to the bellows from excessively high or low pressure.
Air suspension has the advantage of allowing different firmness levels for the right and left bellows, which can be very useful if, for example, the load is greater on one side of the vehicle. It generally supports heavier loads than steel spring suspension, but it should be noted that air suspension can be uncomfortable under a heavy and constant load; in such cases, a heavy-duty steel spring may be preferable.
