The Rockslider running board is well-fitted, made of aluminum, and features a steel support structure. The rigidity
of the sliding panel is pressed into the "honeycomb matrix" of the front face, thus replacing
the original plastic threshold protection.
The steel support structure is pressed into the threshold with threaded rivets (note,
Drilling of existing holes from 8.5 mm to 9 mm is necessary). At the bottom
the support structure is held in place by tightening the threshold seal.
The aluminum used for the rockslider is special
high-quality matte black powder coating.
This product is a functional and lightweight aluminum cabin protection.
Due to this lightweight construction, the slider is not suitable for a jack.
However, it offers more than adequate protection in moderately difficult terrain.
