All necessary fasteners for mounting and installing the wheel carrier on the van are provided. Wheel bolts for mounting the wheel on the carrier are not included. (Locking wheel bolts available separately).
The wheel supports bolt to the existing door hinges and require drilling a single hole in the door skin.
This product does NOT require you to modify or change your hinges. They fit all hinge options for this van without modification.
The third mounting point through the door skin goes through a structural part of the door. You are not just securing the outer skin, but also the inner structure of the door.
The door does not need to be removed to fit this product.
Always test the fit of any bolted product before painting. We will not refund the paint if the part is not tested before painting.
All drilled holes will require painting on bare metal to prevent corrosion. We also bond the door skin support and the door skin, which eliminates point loading on the bolts while sealing the hole to prevent water ingress.
