FOLDABLE ALUMINUM CROSS ROOF BARS:
The ingenious switching mechanism allows R-DESIGN PLUS roof bars to easily switch from the vertical position (10 cm high) to the horizontal position (3 cm high). This will allow you to reduce fuel consumption and, above all, to access underground car parks when the vehicle height is limited. In the case of electric vehicles, your autonomy will be protected thanks to this kit.
The driver adapts the desired functionality himself, carrying mode or folded mode, switching from one to the other in a flash.
The user switches from one position to another using a robust lever. For transporting long objects, the vertical position is selected. However, when no object needs to be transported, the bars are folded down to the horizontal position. In this "comfort" position, the kit offers the advantage of being silent, and allows for economical and durable driving. To top it all off, the handle is equipped with a unique lock that guarantees the security of transport and the locking of the system.
The wind resistance of R-DESIGN PLUS roof bars is minimal. The crossbars are made of curved aluminum and the kit perfectly matches the curves of the vehicle. The roof bars only extend 10 cm beyond their attachment points on the roof when in folded mode.
R-DESIGN PLUS roof bars have a load capacity of 75 kg. Installation is carried out directly on the vehicle's original points with stainless steel supports. In just half an hour, the kit is installed and ready to go.
