For optimal results, install the air bellows with a compressor. This will allow you to adjust the air pressure of the bellows with a simple push of a button in the cabin, while avoiding damage to the bellows from too high or too low pressure.
Air suspension has the advantage of allowing different stiffness for the right and left bellows, which can be very useful if, for example, the load is heavier on one side of the vehicle. It generally supports heavier loads than steel spring suspension, but it should be noted that air suspension can be uncomfortable under a significant and constant load; in this case, a reinforced steel spring may be preferable.
