For optimal results, install the pneumatic bellows with a compressor. This way, you can adjust the air pressure of the bellows at the touch of a button from inside the cabin, while avoiding damaging the bellows due to too high or too low pressure.
The air suspension has the advantage of allowing different stiffness for the left and right bellows, which can be very useful if the load is heavier on one side of the vehicle, for example. Additionally, air suspension generally supports heavier loads than a steel spring suspension.
