This BDS kit, a well-known brand among off-road enthusiasts, significantly increases ground clearance while modifying the suspension and steering geometry for optimal handling on all terrains. At the front, it includes FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks, a robust 6.35 mm (1/4 inch) crossmember, a differential drop bracket, and reinforced skid plates for underbody protection. The steering geometry is corrected with CNC machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends, ensuring compatibility with the ESC system. Combined with lowered sway bar links, suspension bump stop extensions, stainless steel braided brake lines, drive shaft spacers, supplied hardware, and much more, these components make up a complete lifted front suspension, ready to tackle any terrain.
The coilover shocks and Performance Elite Series reservoir, easy to install, provide improved damping on all terrains. These shocks ensure suspension damping and support the vehicle's weight. The integrated coil spring is adjustable for preload and ride height and is preset for immediate leveling. Notes:
- Trimming required
- Not suitable for diesel models
- Fits only 4x4 models
- Fits only models with large bore axle knuckles
- Fits vehicles without factory air suspension
- RAMs equipped with 22-inch factory wheels require larger diameter axle knuckles due to the larger wheel bearing size. See manufacturing code WPM or WPZ.
- 17-inch factory wheels cannot be reinstalled due to a risk of interference with steering. 20-inch factory wheels can be reinstalled with original size tires.
- This system is not compatible with vehicles equipped with standard hub bore size.
- If the truck is equipped with a STANDARD hub bore, use the lift kit with standard BDS1662H (NX2 shocks) or BDS1662F (FOX shocks) steering knuckles, sold separately.
