- Purelux LED headlights with two lighting modes:
- Switch from high beam mode to “Power” mode (maximum power)
- A particularly useful feature is the ability to switch between high beam mode and “Power” mode (also called “Boost” mode).
- The high beam mode complies with legislation and ensures glare-free lighting, while the “Power” mode offers significantly higher brightness, ideal for driving in darkness or on unlit paths.
- But how to activate the “Power” mode if the headlight starts by default in high beam mode?
- Switching to “Power” mode: step-by-step guide
- Starting in high beam mode:
- Upon first startup, the headlight always turns on in approved E high beam mode (compliant for road use and glare-free).
- To switch to “Power” mode, turn off the headlight for 5 seconds. Ensure that the light is completely off.
- Turn on the headlight for 2 seconds, then turn it off again.
- You must now turn the headlight off and on three times within 5 seconds. This operation must be done quickly:
- Off → On → Off → On → Off → On.
- “Power” mode activated:
- After this sequence, the headlight should turn on in “Power” mode (also known as “Boost” mode). The “Power” mode offers increased brightness and is particularly useful in low light conditions or when traveling on dark roads.
- Returning to “Road” mode:
- As soon as the headlight is turned off and then back on, it automatically returns to “Road” mode. To return to “Power” mode, you need to repeat the steps described above.
- Why is this important?
- The “Road” mode ensures the headlight complies with legal requirements while avoiding glare for other road users. The “Power” mode, on the other hand, provides significantly higher lighting power, which is particularly advantageous for night driving on unlit roads or in poor visibility. With the switching system described above, you can quickly and easily adapt the headlight to your needs.
- Conclusion
- Thanks to this practical switching system, you can switch at any time from “Road” mode (safe and compliant) to “Power” mode (more powerful). Whether you are driving on well-lit roads or dark mountain trails, you can easily adjust the lighting to ensure optimal visibility and safety in all circumstances.
