STAINLESS STEEL TRUNK SILL PROTECTION WITH EDGES (exterior):
This trunk sill protection with edges effectively protects against dents and scratches during loading and unloading. Thanks to its shape, like the ribbed pattern on top, it is designed to perfectly fit the BMW X3 design. And if you ever wish to replace the protector after intensive use, that's also possible. It will be much cheaper than repainting your bumper.
This trunk sill is made of high-quality V2A stainless steel and comes with a complete mounting kit and clear installation instructions. Installation is very easy because the product is equipped with double-sided adhesive tape.
Installation instructions:
Install in a dry and dust-free environment.
After removing the product from its packaging, make sure to practice placing it on the area where it will be applied without removing the protective surface of the double-sided adhesive tape.
Carefully clean the surface to which the product will be glued with a cleaning liquid (alcohol, rubbing alcohol, cellulosic thinner, etc.). (Do not clean with liquids containing additives such as scented cologne, wet wipes, gasoline, etc.) Floor cleaning is very important for installation. Plastic parts with a greasy and shiny surface, such as glass seals and door protection strips, must be cleaned until this surface disappears.
If the product contains an adhesive-strengthening « Primer » wipe (Primer: It is a chemical liquid to be applied to plastic surfaces. It cannot/should not be used on painted vehicle surfaces), apply it to the cleaned surface only on the cleaned area where the tapes on the back of the product will stick and where the product will cover. (Be careful not to apply it to parts where the product will not stick/cover)

Make sure it adheres well by applying pressure with a dry cloth. For the product to adhere well, protect it from water for 24 hours and make sure not to wash your vehicle with pressurized water for 48 hours.
