RETRACTABLE REAR STEP FOR TRUCK BED
The retractable step for pick-ups was designed to facilitate entry into the vehicle's bed. The structure is also equipped with a right-hand grip to provide an additional support point.
The folded step takes up little space in the cargo area and, thanks to the micro-rubber pads, it does not damage the vehicle's tailgate when the step is in use.
For proper installation, place the retractable step in the open position on the tailgate and carefully mark its position on the hatch. Then, mark the locations of the mounting holes (two at each end of each of the two step bases), which must be drilled with a 9 mm diameter drill bit into the vehicle's hatch, then install the rivet nuts included in the kit with the M6 screws into the holes. Remember that the rivet nuts must be mounted in the steel part of the vehicle's tailgate, which is often covered with a plastic flap coating.
The structure is made of 2 and 4 mm steel, galvanized and finished using a two-layer powder coating process.
