MAD air suspension is generally designed to work as a complement to the vehicle's original rear suspension. Available in different versions, it is suitable for motorists who wish to adjust the firmness of their suspension themselves. Inflation can be manual (requiring access to compressed air to inflate the bellows to the desired pressure), or with a compressor and pressure gauge (allowing adjustment while driving). Finally, the integral air suspension automatically compensates for the original suspension and adjusts the load level.
Installing air suspension on your car offers a totally different driving experience, whether your vehicle is loaded or not. Each air suspension is specifically designed to fit your car model. Thanks to air suspension, you can also adjust the height of the rear of your vehicle if necessary, for example to increase ground clearance. With MAD air suspension, comfort and safety reach a whole new level.
This type of bellow is mounted inside the rear coil spring. Its power being limited, it is only suitable for vehicles with a payload between 0 and 200 kg.
Which reinforcement to choose:

- M31-432-5 (Auxiliary suspension) suitable for a load of 0 to 300 kg
- Load spring M31-433-8 , suitable for a load of 200 to 500 kg
- M31-437-8 (Load spring + Auxiliary spring) Suitable for a load weight of 400 to 700 kg.
For optimal results, install the air bellows with a compressor. This will allow you to adjust the air pressure of the bellows with a simple press of a button in the cabin, while avoiding damaging the bellows by too high or too low pressure.
Air suspension has the advantage of allowing different hardnesses for the right and left bellows, which can be very useful if, for example, the load is heavier on one side of the vehicle. It generally supports heavier loads than steel spring suspension, but it should be noted that air suspension can be uncomfortable under a heavy and constant load; in this case, a reinforced steel spring may be preferable.
